Fat injection is one of the most effective aesthetic procedures that permanently adding volume of the face. The adipose tissue received with special methods from the certain parts of the body such as the thighs and the abdomen, and is injected under skin through specific channels to the areas where required and the loss of volume is observed. The received oil is transferred to its new location through a specific injector after some special process applied to them. This process does not leave any trace because any incision is not made. In this way, fullness, brightness and tension occur in the skin. Surgery is often done under general anaesthesia and takes about 30 minutes-1 hour. Oil injection is not a process which comprises 100% permanence. Mostly 30% – 40% of fat injected under the skin disappears. Adipose tissue is less permanent if it is injected to the moving parts of the body such as lips while it shows lifelong persistence in areas such as the cheeks and forehead. Mild swellings and bruises may appear in areas where the adipose tissue is taken from however no permanent changes or traces occur in these areas. My patients are usually discharged at the same day. The swelling on the face completely disappears in 3-5 days and your skin will look tighten, fuller and younger with injection of fat made of your own tissues.
