Op. Dr. Emre İLHAN

He was born in Istanbul in 1976. In 1994, he graduated from Balıkesir Sırrı Yırcalı Anatolian High School and entered the Ege University Faculty of Medicine the same year. After completing his medical education, he completed his specialization in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery between 2001 and 2005 at Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital. From 2005 to 2006, he fulfilled his military service at Erzurum Mareşal Çakmak Military Hospital, where he also served as Clinic Chief.

For the past 14 years, Op. Dr. A. Emre İlhan has focused exclusively on rhinoplasty and nasal health. He has achieved high success rates in rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty for patients from all over Turkey and around the world, pioneering numerous advancements in nasal aesthetics. He is known for exceptionally high patient satisfaction rates, both in Turkey and abroad.

Each year, he organizes the “Innovative Approaches in Rhinoplasty” conference, periodically hosted by the Turkish Foundation for Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. This conference brings together the most innovative experts in Turkish nasal aesthetics, focusing on advanced techniques, the latest technologies, and new philosophies, with live surgeries using piezoelectric technology.

In the past five years, he has been invited to more than 40 national and international scientific meetings as a speaker. Additionally, he has served as an instructor for the last three years at the Rhinoplasty and Facial Aesthetic Surgery Cadaver Dissection Course, organized in collaboration with the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association and the University of Hamburg. His recent work has focused on the following challenging topics in rhinoplasty worldwide:

He continues his scientific research in these areas, with publications in the world’s leading scientific journals. He holds the distinction of being one of the first surgeons in Turkey, alongside top centers worldwide, to implement the Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty technique.
